Model History and Information: BMW M Motorsport presented the new M4 GT4 in its works design at Virginia International Raceway in June 2022, opening sales of the customer race car for the 2023 season. Based on the sixth-generation BMW M4, it uses a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine producing up to 405 kW (550 hp) and 650 Nm, depending on regulations, with a 7-speed ZF automatic gearbox. The car was launched at a net price of 187,000 euros and features natural fibre body and interior components as well as a carbon fibre roof taken from the M4 GT3.
