Model History and Information: The 2026 Mustang Dark Horse SC is a supercharged version of the Dark Horse, available from summer 2026. It uses a 5.2-litre supercharged cross-plane crank V8, shared with the Mustang GTD supercar, rated at 795 maximum horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed Tremec dual-clutch transmission and a lightweight carbon-fiber driveshaft. The available Track Pack adds a package-specific MagneRide calibration, standard 20-inch carbon-fiber wheels with Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, and a ducktail with a carbon-fiber rear wing that Ford says provides 620 pounds of downforce at 180 mph.
