Model History and Information: Porsche's 911 Turbo, known internally as the 930, reached the market for the 1975 model year. The later Turbo 3.3 gained an intercooler beneath its rear spoiler and developed 300 PS in Porsche's published history. Porsche added the Targa body to the Turbo range for the 1987 model year. The body style retained a roof bar, removable roof section and fixed rear window. For the 1989 model year, Porsche replaced the four-speed manual with a five-speed gearbox. The Turbo also featured wider rear arches and a distinctive rear wing, visual elements that distinguished it from other 911 variants.
