Model History and Information: The 964-generation Porsche 911 Turbo used a 3.3-litre turbocharged flat-six developed from the engine of the earlier 930, rated at 320 PS. The 1991 and 1992 model years used this engine, before a 3.6-litre Turbo with 360 PS followed in model year 1993. Compared with the Carrera models, the Turbo had a wider bodyshell with significantly more flared wheel housings, and its front and rear panels were made of deformable plastic. The rear wing was largely adopted from the G-model Turbo 3.3, and two oval tailpipes were fitted, although exhaust gases only left through the left-hand pipe when the boost-pressure control valve was open. The 964 Turbo was sold almost only as a coupe, with just a very limited Cabriolet range.
