Model History and Information: The Porsche 928 was unveiled at the 1977 Geneva Motor Show and was named European Car of the Year 1978, the only sports car to have won the award. The 928 S, introduced in Europe for the 1980 model year, received a 4.7-litre V8 of about 300 bhp, front and rear spoilers and 16-inch wheels.
