Model History and Information: RUF revived the SCR idea with a new prototype in 2018. The modern SCR uses RUF's carbon-fiber monocoque, an integrated safety cage, and carbon-ceramic brakes. Its naturally aspirated four-liter six-cylinder engine produces 510 hp and is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. RUF quotes a vehicle weight of 1,250 kg and a top speed of 320 km/h. RUF's published specification brings together a carbon structure, conventional manual shifting, and a naturally aspirated engine in its modern interpretation of the SCR.
