Model History and Information: This is a Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB) widebody conversion, the program built by Japanese tuner Akira Nakai around widened arches, new bumpers and side skirts fitted to a Porsche 911. Its livery is a tribute to the Porsche 917/20, the one-off Le Mans research car nicknamed ‘Pink Pig’ for its bright pink paint marked out with the names of butcher’s cuts, entered by the Martini International team at the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans. That car qualified seventh and ran as high as third before a brake failure caused a crash at Arnage during the night. This RWB pays homage to that paint scheme rather than reproducing the 917/20’s shape.
