Model History and Information: The Can-Am Maverick R MAX X rs with Smart-Shox is the multi-passenger version of BRP's Maverick R, offered with the new MAX packages for the 2025 model year. It has a 240 hp Rotax 999T engine, a 999 cc turbocharged triple-cylinder unit, with a Rotax DCT seven-speed transmission with high and extra-low range. Smart-Shox uses FOX Live Valve Gen 3 technology, with FOX 2.5 PODIUM front and 3.0 PODIUM rear shocks and 24 in. (61 cm) of front and rear suspension travel. The package has a 10.25 in. touchscreen display, a lockable Smart-Lok front differential and 32 in. ITP Tenacity XNR tires on 16 in. wheels.
