Model History and Information: The Can-Am Maverick Sport line was introduced by BRP in April 2018 as 2019 models that brought Maverick performance to the 60-inch trail class, and the first vehicles reached dealers in June of that year. Within the family, the X xc 1000R is listed on BRP's 2022 specification sheet with a liquid-cooled Rotax 976 cc V-twin, a lockable front differential with Smart-Lok technology and a 4WD TRAIL ACTIV mode, FOX 2.5 PODIUM piggyback shocks with QS3 adjustment, Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires on 14-inch cast-aluminum beadlock wheels, premium half doors and a 64-inch width.
