Model History and Information: In September 2017 BRP expanded its Can-Am side-by-side range with the Maverick Trail, a family of 50-inch-wide vehicles that the company described as its first trail-specific models, intended to let riders explore many public trails while drawing on Maverick X3 heritage. The DPS in this version's name refers to Dynamic Power Steering. BRP's 2023 specification sheet for the Maverick Trail DPS lists, for the 1000, a liquid-cooled Rotax 976 cc V-twin with a CVT and electronic drive belt protection, selectable 2WD/4WD with a Visco-Lok QE auto-locking front differential, electronic hill descent control, half doors and 12-inch aluminum wheels. This 1:32 model shows black bodywork with blue door and hood panels, and a driver figure in a black helmet.
