1:32 Peterbilt Model 536 with Altec AA55 Aerial Service Body, White cab & White body
Product Dimensions: 10.94 x 3.78 x 4.25 in.
Model History and Information: Altec's AA55 is an articulating, non-overcenter aerial device that the company calls one of the work horses of the electric utility industry, used for jobs ranging from replacing transformers and cross-arms to restoring power lines after storms. Altec lists a working height of 60.1 feet and a platform capacity of 700 pounds, and the boom is compensated so the operator keeps the same basic position relative to the ground as the lower boom articulates. A pilot-operated hydraulic system allows up to three boom functions at once. Here the aerial device is mounted on a Peterbilt Model 536, the medium duty truck Peterbilt introduced in April 2021 with a robotically assembled aluminum cab. This 1:32 model is white, with Altec markings on the doors, boom and platform.
