Model History and Information: The second-generation Audi S8 (D3) ran from 2006 to 2010 as the flagship of the A8 range, using a detuned version of the Lamborghini Gallardo's 5.2-litre V10 producing 450 PS (444 hp) and 540 Nm of torque with a curb weight of 1,940 kg. Quattro all-wheel drive and a Tiptronic automatic gave a 0-60 mph time of about 5.1 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph; the range was updated in 2007 with revised steering and suspension, then later gained a facelifted grille, mirrors and tail lights. This example, from the final 2010 model year, is finished in White, distinguishing it from the Black example also offered by Solido. The 1:43 model has a sealed body with no opening parts and free-rolling wheels.
