Model History and Information: The Mercedes-Benz 300 CE 6.0 AMG, nicknamed The Hammer, was an AMG conversion of the W124 coupe. The standard 300 CE was built from April 1987 to October 1992, while AMG fitted a transplanted M117 V8 engine with custom DOHC cylinder heads and a wide-body kit. Auto Motor und Sport quotes 385 PS and 566 Nm and says the car earned its name in the United States because it was so strong and fast. This version is finished in Black.
