Model History and Information: The Toyota GR Yaris is a homologation special developed by Toyota Gazoo Racing and Tommi Mäkinen Racing to underpin the Yaris WRC rally car, and is a dedicated all-wheel-drive sports car, a layout Toyota had not offered since the Celica GT-Four ended production in 1999. Its 1.6-litre three-cylinder turbo engine produces 257 hp and 360 Nm of torque, giving a 0-100 km/h time of 5.5 seconds. Lightweight construction includes a carbon-fibre roof and aluminium bonnet, doors and boot, while a double-wishbone rear suspension replaces the standard Yaris’s torsion-beam setup. This example is finished in what Solido lists as Karmina Red Metallic.
