Model History and Information: The Cat 150 is a motor grader made by Caterpillar for road maintenance, fine grading and site preparation. It has a 12 ft (3,657 mm) blade width, and a 14 ft moldboard is listed as an option. Caterpillar builds the 150 with two operator control layouts: LVR, which uses levers and a steering wheel, and JOY, which uses joysticks, so the operator can choose the layout they prefer. This model is the LVR version, with conventional lever and steering wheel controls. Caterpillar also lists optional All-Wheel Drive (AWD) for the 150, which assists with traction and maneuvering, and its motor grader range also includes the 120, 140 and 160.
