Model History and Information: The Cat® 352 is a large hydraulic excavator in the roughly 52-tonne class, built for heavy production digging, bulk excavation, and truck loading in quarrying and major construction. The current version delivers 443 hp (330 kW) net power, reaches a maximum digging depth of 26.11 ft (8,210 mm), and has an operating weight of about 107,800 lb (48,900 kg). Caterpillar equipped it with standard Cat Grade with 2D, Grade Assist, and Payload technologies, an E-Fence safety feature, and a redesigned ROPS cab, positioning the 352 as a low-cost-per-unit-of-production excavator for large-scale projects. This 1:50 scale model reproduces that current Next Generation configuration.
