The machine is powered by a Cat C18 ACERT engine rated at 532 hp (391 kW) net flywheel power. Its operating weight varies with configuration, from about 190,204 lb (86,275 kg) in the lighter reach setup to about 202,869 lb (92,020 kg) in the heavier mass-excavation setup used with large-capacity buckets for high-volume truck loading. This 1:50 scale model reproduces that large-excavator configuration.
