Model History and Information: The Cat® 395 is Caterpillar's largest Next Generation hydraulic excavator, introduced for high-production bulk excavation, quarry loading, and mining support work. It is a 95-tonne machine powered by a 540 hp Cat C18 engine, with maximum digging depths from 23.7 to 38.5 feet depending on configuration, reinforced booms, sticks, and undercarriage for heavy-duty durability, and can run a Cat SD bucket rated at 5.2 cubic meters (6.8 cubic yards). Like other Next Generation excavators, it shares common parts and extended, synchronized service intervals to help lower ownership costs. This 1:50 scale High Line Series model reproduces the excavator with a detailed cab interior, removable operator figure, and a fully rotating undercarriage.
