Model History and Information: The Cat 627K is a wheel tractor-scraper that cuts, loads, hauls, and spreads earth in a single pass, combining a tractor and a scraper bowl for large earthmoving and site-development projects. It pairs a Cat C13 tractor engine rated at 304 kW (407 hp) with a Cat C9.3 scraper engine rated at 216 kW (290 hp), meeting emissions standards equivalent to Tier 2/Stage II or Tier 3/Stage III depending on configuration. The bowl holds 24 cubic yards heaped, and loaded top speed reaches 33.5 mph.
