Model History and Information: The Cat® 906 is a compact wheel loader used for loading, material handling, and light utility work in construction, landscaping, and agriculture. Alongside the standard diesel machine, Caterpillar also builds a battery-electric version of the 906 that replaces the diesel engine and exhaust system with a battery-electric powertrain, giving it zero-exhaust-emissions operation for indoor work and noise-sensitive sites. It keeps the same small footprint, articulated steering, and Cat work-tool compatibility as the diesel model, so it can use the same buckets and attachments. This 1:50 scale model represents that electric-version 906.
