Model History and Information: The Cat D10T2 is a large track-type tractor that Diecast Masters describes as the continuation of the D10 legacy. Caterpillar presents it as flexible enough for heavy construction sites and robust enough for mine sites. The Tier 4 Final version is powered by a Cat C27 engine matched to a high-efficiency torque converter and an electronically controlled power shift transmission, and its bogie suspension lets the tracks conform to ground conditions for higher traction and less slippage.
