Model History and Information: International launched the HX Series on February 1, 2016, at World of Concrete in Las Vegas as a line of Class 8 premium vocational trucks for the severe service industry. The HX620 was one of the three models shown at that debut. It uses a set-back front axle and was offered as a truck or tractor for heavy haul, construction dump and platform stake or crane work, powered by the Cummins ISX15 engine. Diecast Masters opened its 1:50 Transport Series in 2018 with HX Series trucks and matched their colors to actual International paint chips.
