Model History and Information: Kenworth introduced the T880S at the ConcreteWorks show in September 2016 as a set-forward front axle version of its T880 vocational truck, aimed at ready-mix, dump and mobile crane operators who value payload, maneuverability and visibility. Kenworth offered it with a 114-inch BBC, set-forward front axles rated from 14,600 to 22,800 lb, and a choice of drive axle groups and factory-installed lift axles. The dump body comes from Ox Bodies, founded in 1972 in Fayette, Alabama. Its Stampede is an elliptical dump body built from AR450 steel, with smooth full-length radius sides and no vertical weld seams, intended for large rock, riprap and demolition loads. This 1:50 model pairs a metallic blue cab with a silver Stampede body and shows three rear axles.
