Model History and Information: The Peterbilt® Model 579 is a Class 8 on-highway tractor that Peterbilt substantially redesigned for the 2021 model year, with a new sloped hood, optimized aerodynamic components, and updated PACCAR MX-13 and MX-11 engines. Its UltraLoft sleeper option offers an 80-inch-wide living space with about eight feet of headroom and roughly 70 cubic feet of storage, built around the standard PACCAR MX-13 engine. This 1:50 scale model reproduces the 579 UltraLoft in a Legend Black cab finish, paired with a 53-foot trailer carrying Cat® equipment mural graphics and the Cat® logo.
