Model History and Information: This model represents a Cat® CT660 vocational truck fitted with an OX Bodies Stampede dump body, a severe-service dump configuration used for construction and aggregate hauling. Caterpillar sold the CT660 from summer 2011 for construction, dump and mixer applications, building it at Navistar's Garland, Texas plant with a choice of Cat CT11 or CT13 engines before exiting the on-highway vocational truck business around 2016. OX Bodies is a truck-body manufacturer whose Stampede dump body was offered as an aftermarket work-body option on vocational chassis such as the CT660. This 1:64 scale model reproduces that dump-body configuration.
