Model History and Information: Great Dane's refrigerated trailers took the Everest name in the 2010s, when the company renamed its dry van, reefer and flatbed lines. Great Dane builds the Everest for cold-chain fleets with a foil-lined ThermoGuard composite liner, Microban-infused linings, a wood-free floor system with composite sills and the RIG30 rear impact guard, and the Multi-Temp version can be divided into as many as three temperature-controlled compartments plus an ambient section. In this 1:64 set the 53ft Everest reefer, with its refrigeration unit on the front wall, is paired with a Winter-White fifth-generation Freightliner Cascadia. Freightliner unveiled that generation in October 2024 and lists temperature-controlled and reefer hauling among its applications.
