Model History and Information: Caterpillar built the Cat® 320F L as the long-undercarriage F-series version of its long-running 320 medium excavator, used for digging, trenching, grading, and truck loading across general construction and utility work. The machine runs a Cat C4.4 ACERT engine producing 161 hp (120 kW) net flywheel power. Compared with earlier 320 generations, Caterpillar gave the F-series a more robust undercarriage, a quieter operator cab, and service points placed for easier routine maintenance, while keeping the low cost per hour that has made the 320 line one of the company's most widely used excavators. This 1:64 scale model reproduces that configuration.
