1:72 Scale F-16D Thunderbirds No.7 plane, USAF, Nellis AFB, 2017
Product Dimensions: 8.24 x 5.44 x 2.67 in.
Model History and Information: The Thunderbirds fly twelve F-16s: nine single-seat C models, of which six perform, and three two-seat D models. Number 7 is the squadron's operations officer, one of the team's fighter pilots who does not fly in the public display; the aircraft is used for practice demonstrations and for the site surveys the team carries out before performing at a new venue, often flying a photo-chase profile. When that seventh jet is a two-seater, only a designated team member occupies the rear cockpit. The squadron is based at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. The named serial, unit, date and finish on this model identify the individual historical subject represented: 1:72 Scale F-16D Thunderbirds No.7 plane, USAF, Nellis AFB, 2017.
