TF-104G Starfighter 27+87, JG 74 "Molders", 1970s (1:72 Scale)
Product Dimensions: 9.1 x 8.7 x 3.0 in.
Model History and Information: The TF-104G was the combat-capable two-seat trainer derivative of the F-104G Starfighter, deleting the internal cannon and centerline pylon and carrying reduced internal fuel; about 220 were produced. The F-104G was the most numerous Starfighter variant, a multirole fighter-bomber built by Lockheed and by European and Canadian licensees. The West German Luftwaffe was the largest Starfighter operator, and Jagdgeschwader 74 'Molders', based at Neuburg an der Donau in Bavaria, flew the type in the interceptor role from the mid-1960s. Two-seat TF-104Gs supported conversion and continuation training alongside the wing's single-seaters.
