Model History and Information: The Cat CT681 was a Class 8 vocational truck with a set-forward front axle, which Caterpillar positioned for hauling heavy loads and working in extreme conditions. It used aluminum alloy cab construction to save weight for payload, came with the Cat CT13 engine and belonged to the CT truck line that Caterpillar launched in 2011 and decided to discontinue in 2016. In this 1:87 Earth Mover playset the truck is a dump truck with a yellow cab and a black dump body.
