Model History and Information: This 1:87 assortment contains six Cat blister packs: two of item 84400 and one each of items 84401, 84402, 84403 and 84405. The product photos show a 315C L hydraulic excavator in two of the packs, together with a track-type tractor, a 950G wheel loader, a motor grader and a 627G wheel tractor-scraper. The 315C L is a small Cat excavator powered by a Cat 3046T engine, and Caterpillar catalogs the 950G as a medium wheel loader. The 627G is tandem powered, with a C15 tractor engine and a C9 scraper engine; the two engines give it power for steep grades and all wheel drive for soft, slippery ground.
