Model History and Information: A lowboy is a drop-deck semi-trailer built with two deck-height drops — one right after the gooseneck, one right before the wheels — letting the deck sit lower than other trailers and carry legal loads up to 3,600 mm (12 ft) tall. Wikipedia describes lowboys as the trailer used to haul heavy equipment such as bulldozers and other large industrial machinery. This 1:87 scale Series II assortment pairs a Cat semi-tractor and lowboy trailer with a second mix of four different Cat diecast construction models carried as loads on the trailer, distinguishing it from the first assortment, item 84410A, which carries a different set of four models.
