Model History and Information: The Cat® 320F L is the long-undercarriage version of Caterpillar's F-series 320, used for digging, trenching, grading, and truck loading in general construction and utility work. It shares the F-series' Cat C4.4 ACERT engine, rated at 161 hp (120 kW) net flywheel power with a 4.4 L displacement. Caterpillar built the F-series with a stronger, more stable undercarriage, a quieter ROPS cab, and easy-to-reach service points intended to lower cost per hour of operation compared with earlier 320 generations. Across its several generations, the 320 line remains one of Caterpillar's best-known and most widely used excavators. This 1:64 scale model reproduces the F-series long-undercarriage configuration.
