Model History and Information: Western Star launched the 4700 at the 2011 Work Truck Show and named mixer work among its target applications, together with dump, crane, roll-off, sewer vacuum and plow duties. Its 110-inch bumper-to-back-of-cab dimension and a wheel cut of up to 55 degrees were intended to improve maneuverability on tight job sites. Western Star also gave the 4700 body builder features such as clean back-of-cab configurations, in-cab batteries and multiple front and rear power take-off options. This replica uses the set-forward front axle (SFFA) layout and mounts a gray mixer drum with Western Star logos on a metallic red tandem-axle 4700 chassis.
