Model History and Information: This set pairs two long-haul designs. The Kenworth T680 Next Gen uses a narrower hood and grille, A-pillar turning vanes, integrated front air dams and redesigned chassis fairings to keep airflow tight to the truck. The trailer is a Great Dane Champion dry van. Great Dane, which began in Savannah, Georgia, in 1900, renamed its dry vans Champion in the 2010s and builds the line in sheet-and-post and composite models in 28ft pup, 48ft and 53ft lengths. This 1:50 Diecast Masters release combines a T680 Next Gen high-roof sleeper cab tandem tractor with a white 53ft Champion trailer carrying the Champion logo on the rear doors and Great Dane mud flaps.
