Model History and Information: The modern Alpine A110 was launched in 2017 with a 1.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, rated at 252 PS in the base car and paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Alpine introduced the A110 S in 2019 with 292 PS, a 1,114 kg unladen weight and a specific chassis setup for high-speed stability. The cars are built at Manufacture Alpine Dieppe Jean Rédélé. The original A110 entered French Gendarmerie service in 1967, and in 2021 the Interior Ministry ordered 26 modern A110s with 252 hp engines for motorway rapid-intervention patrols.
