Model History and Information: The Aston Martin Vantage GT4 is a customer racing version of the current Vantage road car, built to FIA GT4 regulations for production-based GT championships. It shares roughly 80 percent of its structure and mechanical layout with the road-going Vantage, including the Mercedes-AMG-sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, rated at 510 PS (503 hp) in the road car. For competition, a Bosch Motorsport ECU with bespoke software manages the engine and turbo control to meet Balance of Performance requirements set by GT4 series organisers. Aston Martin introduced this generation of the Vantage GT4 alongside the road car's 2018 launch, and the model has since raced in GT4 championships worldwide.
