Audi Sport Quattro 1985 - Dark Blue (1:18 Scale)
Model History and Information: The Sport quattro was built so that Audi could homologate a shorter, lighter rally car for Group B. Engineers removed 320 mm from the wheelbase by sectioning the floorpan ahead of the B-pillar, enlarged the turbocharged five-cylinder engine to 2.1 litres and quoted 306 horsepower in road trim; it also introduced anti-lock brakes to the quattro range. Exactly 214 were completed between February 1984 and late 1985, offered in only four colours, of which 164 went to customers and the rest stayed with the factory for competition and corporate use. Stig Blomqvist took the 1984 drivers world rally title for Audi.
