Model History and Information: Toddys is the preschool range of the German maker SIKU, developed for children from twelve months old. Each Toddy is built from two or three parts joined by a simple twist-and-plug click and play system, so a child can pull a vehicle apart and put it back together without help, which is how the range works on fine motor skills. Every Toddy combines with every other one, letting children mix bodies and drivers or chain them into long multi-coloured vehicles, and the figures themselves are articulated: the heads turn, the arms raise and the legs bend. The parts are also compatible with standard building bricks.
