Model History and Information: The Cat® 352 UHD is an ultra-high-demolition version of the 352 platform, built to dismantle tall structures from the ground with Cat attachments such as multiprocessors, grapples, shears, and hydraulic hammers. In its UHD configuration it has an operating weight of about 142,200 lb (64,500 kg), a maximum pin height at the stick nose of 90.8 ft (27.7 m), and can handle an 8,200 lb (3,700 kg) tool at that reach. Its boom can be switched between the tall UHD position and a straight or bent retrofit position for lower-level demolition and earthmoving. The demolition cab tilts up 30 degrees and carries a falling-object guard structure for operator visibility and protection. This 1:50 scale model reproduces the UHD front configuration.
