Model History and Information: This playset builds a construction site around a flexible track layout made from yellow, gray and brown sections, with raised crossover ramps and an arched truss bridge. A tower crane with a hanging hook stands at the center, and the site is dressed with traffic cones, road barriers, signs and a wheelbarrow. Two Cat-branded vehicles are included: a haul truck marked 797F and a wheel loader marked 950. The full-size Cat 797F is the third generation of Caterpillar's 797 mining haul truck; it was shown publicly in 2008, entered full production in late 2009 and carries a payload of up to 400 short tons. Wheel loaders like the 950 move soil, rock and sand into trucks and other machinery.
