Model History and Information: The Cat® 906 is a compact wheel loader used for loading, material handling, and light utility work in construction, landscaping, and agriculture, tasks where its small size and compatibility with Cat work tools make it a versatile machine on tight sites. It is powered by a Cat C2.8 engine paired with a hydrostatic transmission, and Caterpillar rates its bucket capacity between 0.75 and 1.55 cubic meters (1 to 2 cubic yards) depending on configuration. The compact wheel loader class the 906 belongs to is built to travel between tasks at road speeds while still fitting into confined work areas. This Cat Micro model reproduces the 906 at a small no-scale size for the Micro Constructors line, distinct in subject from the larger medium wheel loaders, such as the 950M, also in the range.
