Model History and Information: The second Cat Mini Play Set assortment keeps the tool box format, with each set packed in a Cat-branded plastic tool box together with a bag of Motion Sand and surprise tools. The product photos show six tool boxes: a 315D L excavator with red barriers, a D5G XL track-type tractor with grey barriers, a 906 wheel loader with red barricades, a black-finish 420E backhoe loader, a black-finish skid steer loader with blue portable toilets and a newer-style Cat hydraulic excavator with red barriers. Compared with the first assortment, the black machines and the second excavator are the visible changes. The subjects are real Cat equipment, from the compact 906 wheel loader to the D5G XL with its extra long undercarriage.
