Caterpillar Progress Rail HO Scale Train Set

Model History and Information: Progress Rail, acquired by Caterpillar in 2006, bought Electro-Motive Diesel in 2010, and EMD became one of its product brands. This HO scale set from Diecast Masters is built around an EMD SD70ACe locomotive, a model introduced in 2005 for heavy-haul freight applications; here it wears the Progress Rail anniversary decoration with DC analog control and LED lighting. According to the official package list, the train also includes a 60-foot OTTX yellow flat car loaded with a Cat M323F railroad wheeled excavator and a Cat 12M3 motor grader, a Sunoco three-dome tank car and a CSX insulated boxcar, plus curved and straight Walthers track pieces, a transformer, controllers and an instruction sheet.
