Model History and Information: The Claas Torion 1914 is the largest model in Claas's Torion wheel-loader range, built for farm and yard material handling such as loading silage, grain or manure. It is powered by a Liebherr diesel engine rated at around 224 hp, driving a hydrostatic transmission and an articulated steering joint that lets the machine turn its front and rear sections independently for tight manoeuvring. A hydraulic loader arm raises and lowers the front bucket, and the Torion series is aimed at large livestock and arable operations that need higher lifting and tipping capacity than smaller wheel loaders provide.
