Model History and Information: This Mirage 2000-5F, coded 188-ET, flies with Escadron de Chasse 3/11 “Corse,” based at BA 188 in Djibouti, which has operated the Mirage 2000-5F since 2011. The tail carries the dates 1943-2013, marking 70 years of the unit's “Corse” lineage. Like its Cigognes-marked sister aircraft, this airframe carries the 2000-5 upgrade package, adding RDY radar and MICA missile capability to the delta-wing interceptor design first flown in 1978.
