Model History and Information: The Italian Air Force, the Aeronautica Militare, was founded on 28 March 1923, making 2023 the centenary of the service. The Eurofighter Typhoon is the mainstay of its air-defence fleet, a twin-engine, canard delta multirole fighter operated by Italy since the 2000s.
