Model History and Information: Each year the Royal Air Force prepares one Typhoon in a special scheme for its solo display team, and for the 2021 season the honour went to FGR4 ZJ914, quickly nicknamed Blackjack. Its design set the Union Flag and the RAF roundel against a black finish. Flown from RAF Coningsby, the display Typhoon performed at air shows across Britain and beyond, showing off the agility of the type that stands quick-reaction alert for UK air defence. This model captures that 2021 display scheme.
