The F-14A Alicat is not a known variant of the F-14 Tomcat aircraft. The F-14 Tomcat was a two-seat, twin-engine, supersonic, long-range air superiority fighter aircraft developed by the United States Navy. It was used primarily by the US Navy from the 1970s to the mid-2000s and was designed to perform a variety of missions, including air defense, strike warfare, and intelligence gathering. The F-14 was equipped with a sophisticated radar system and was capable of carrying a wide array of air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons. It was known for its swing-wing design, which allowed for increased maneuverability and improved performance at high speeds. The F-14 was retired from US military service in 2006.
