Model History and Information: Japan adopted the F-15J as the backbone of its air-defence force, producing many aircraft domestically under license and operating them for decades from bases around the country. Anniversary schemes turn a routine squadron aircraft into a record of institutional continuity. This 204 Squadron 60th-anniversary F-15J, dated 2024, celebrates a unit whose history reaches back to the postwar rebuilding of Japanese military aviation.
